I was born and raised right here on Long Island, and have been living here most of my life. I am a die hard Mets and Jets fan (unfortunately). I’m also a huge Seinfeld and Curb fan and I may reference them a little too often in session. I have a pretty informal and laidback approach and personality. This is not a job interview, and I believe that developing a comfortable environment is key to building a trusting and open therapeutic relationship.
I graduated from St. John’s University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, and went on to complete my Master’s of Social Work at Adelphi University here on Long Island. I have worked in a variety of different environments including an inpatient psychiatric unit, psychiatric ER, an outpatient mental health clinic for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, and private group practice. I opened this practice in February 2020. I specialize in working with adults who are struggling with anxiety, phobias, depression or those who are struggling to adjust to new life changes.
